| Take Interstate-75 North (West). This runs west across the state through the Everglades (also known as Alligator Alley) to Everglades City. Here I-75 turns north towards Naples and Fort Myers. Take exit 136 and head West on Colonial. Continue on Colonial as Colonial turns into Veterans parkway. You will pass a toll bridge that charges 2 dollars for a 2 axle vehicle. Continue on Veterans until you can turn left on Pine Island Road. Drive on Pine Island Road towards Pine Island. See Once you are on Pine Island Road below for further instructions. |

| Take Interstate-4 West towards Tampa, then from Tampa take Interstate-75 South. The last exit before crossing the Caloosahatchee is Exit 143 - Bayshore/Pine Island Road (Florida State Road 78). You'll see the signs for Cape Coral. Turn right, heading west. After exiting the interstate highway, you are on Pine Island Road. It should have taken you about 3 hours to get to this point, with about 20 miles to go. See Once you are on Pine Island Road below for further instructions. |

Via Tampa International

| Take Interstate-275 south towards St. Petersburg and Bradenton. Continue on I-275 until it intersects with Interstate-75. Take the Southbound ramp onto I-75 . The last exit before crossing the Caloosahatchee River. Travel I-75 south till you reach exit 143 Bayshore Rd., head west. Bayshore Rd. becomes Pine Island Rd. Continue to "Once you are on Pine Island Road". |

From Ft. Myers Airport/Southwest Regional Airport (RSW)

This is a airport with jet service from Dallas, New York, Atlanta, etc. Commuter service is available from Miami and Orlando. All major rental car agencies are represented. Exit from the airport, follow the signs to Interstate-75. Take I-75 North (towards Tampa) until you cross the Caloosahatchee. The next exit (Exit 143) is Bayshore/Pine Island Road (Florida State Road 78). Turn left, heading west, and you are on Pine Island Road.
