Software Installation and Configuration

Some installation services can be performed remotely, while some require the presence of personnel onsite. The project plan will reflect the requisite amounts of each that are required. Checklists will be given to each functional group to prepare them for the type of information required from each department in order to prepare the system for operation. E.g. chart of Accounts, Sales Tax Requirements, customer lists, vendors lists, contacts, opportunities, quotes, AP and AR terms, starting sequences of numbers for invoices, checks, orders, etc. If data conversion is done, this task is obviously simpler. Some clients prefer to have them configure the hardware system at the Cove Systems, Inc. headquarters, and ship the configured hardware package fully loaded with the software applications purchased.
